about

Punk rock tried to destroy the metal, but the metal was much too strong. This one I've been playing since Universal Drift. The vocals on here are actually triple tracked: one track clean, one track growly, and one track whispered on a harmonica mic into a distortion pedal emulation with a more significant delay on it. I like fun studio tricks.

lyrics

War has started in your head you know you're all but dead
We see it through your eyes, you're the one that's in disguise
You know you try to reach out but you cannot feel outside
Of what you know you have become

Now you see this war is over, but you were never sober
Through the acid rain you saw your life
And now this war has come and made your life go numb
And all that's left of you is the aftermath

Chorus: You saw it through your eyes
You're all that's left behind
And nothing now will change
From the aftermath
You saw it through your eyes
You're all that's left behind
And nothing now will change
From the aftermath

Now you see this war is over, but you were never sober
Through the acid rain you saw your life
And now this war has come and made your life go numb
And all that's left of you is the aftermath

[Chorus}

Prostar Chicago, Illinois

I'm just a guy who digs writing and recording music. Pop sort of chord progressions, rock/punk sort of instrumentation.
